Panera Bread created the Dough For Funds® program as a tool to help non-profit organizations raise money by selling coupons redeemable for fresh bagels, breads and sweets.
Dough For Funds®
Dough For Funds involves the sale of made fresh daily bakery items in the
form of coupon strips. We offer a Bagel Strip, which features 3 bagels per
coupon, and a Combo Strip, which features a variety of bakery products.
There are 6 coupons per strip.
A non-profit organization can purchase Bagel Strips for $7.50 and/or Combo
Strips for $8.50. The non-profit would then re-sell the Bagel Strips to
patrons for $15.00 and/or the Combo Strips for $17.00. Additionally, for
every 15 coupon strips an organization sells, it receives one free strip of
choice. The organization may sell these bonus strips for a profit, or use
them for group incentives.
Your organization will retain 50% of the sales generated from the coupons,
and you won't have to keep track of complicated order forms, inventory lists
or bulky boxes. That's $7.50 for EACH Bagel Strip and $8.50 for EACH Combo
Strip your organization sells. Further, your organization will be associated with a quality, easy-to-promote product.
“Adopt a School” Nights
On designated Mondays and Thursdays, Panera Bread will donate 10% of the evening’s proceeds from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to your school. We even provide you with flyers.
